Dawn of the New Whatnow?

Man I am supposed to write a "one page essay on a person or event that inspired [me] to become an artist" and it is a pain in the butt because I can do that in two paragraphs.

ONE DAY I SAW A TERRIBLE PIECE OF ARTWORK IN A PUBLISHED BOOK, AND IT WASN'T THE STYLISTIC KIND OF TERRIBLE THAT IS CHARMING IN IT'S OWN WAY! NO, IT WAS SOME GODDAMN POSER PAINTOVER SHIT THAT LOOKED SO STILTED AND PLASTIC AND FAKE THAT I WANTED TO PUNCH MY FACE THROUGH THE BOOK!!!

AT THAT MOMENT I REALIZED THAT IT WAS MY DUTY TO TRAIN TO BE A TOTALLY AWESOME ARTIST AND GO OUT TO RID THE WORLD OF SHITTY ART. I WOULD FIND THIS PERSON, TAKE THEIR JOB, AND MAKE IT SO THAT THEY WOULD NEVER HARM THE WORLD WITH THEIR HIDEOUS ART EVER AGAIN!!

WATCH OUT, FOOLS. I AM COMING FOR YOU!!

"...I bet you could woo C," she said thoughtfully, "even if that'd take about two years."

"I'm not dating Chloe."

"There's that one prissy guy in Moses' group--"

"Or a bandit."

"JJ, who was your last boyfriend again? Anyway, whatever. What about that one Wonder Baker chick?" That is a really great look on his face right now, she thinks. "Okay, maybe not. Tulip?"

"Isn't she still afraid to touch Orerines?"

"...that's a good point. Okay, okay." Damn, she's running out of names. "Um. Ellie?"

"I'm pretty sure I'm not female enough for her."

"I can't believe you actually noticed that. You look a lot like a girl, anyway, we could always dress you up--"

"Norma, no."

"Spoilsport. Oh, oh! The guy who runs the armory has a son--he's pretty cute."

Jay puts his head back down on the table. "I can't believe I'm having this conversation with you," he says.

"You say that a lot," she observes.

"Maybe you should be less ridiculous, then."

"Maybe you should be less prudish."

I AM NOT SURE WHETHER TO TACKLE THIS 'VERSE FIRST OR THE JAY/SHIRLEY ONE. SOMEONE DECIDE FOR ME.

I'm finally getting back to writing Trifecta 9, at least. :') It's not so much writer's block as it is worrying about pacing, which is understandable since I write such ungodly huge chapters. I feel like I'm copping out when I cut scenes short and when I briefly describe stuff that would totally be filler otherwise in "as the days go by" sort of saying.

I'm over 13k already and Paul's just now having to learn about his consequence for losing the bet. ♥ It was fun setting this up, so I know the main event will be fun to write as well! Getting to watch Another One Gabites the Dust! again thanks to the marathon really helps, too. Lots of inspiration.

Plus, for some reason I'm having a lot of fun making up town names for the fic. So far I've made Butterbridge Town, Plumeria Town, and now Cirribus Town. Of course there's a reference in the first town that most of you would hopefully get. ♥ Plumeria happens to be one of my favorite scents, and "Cirribus" is a portmanteau of "cirrus" and "cumulonimbus"; two different types of clouds.

Well, there's just one more big pre-main event scene to get through. Hopefully I can pace that okay, because the main event itself will probably be eye-numbingly long! But totally worth it, I'm praying. I guess no one expected it would take this long to get this chapter. XD I'll give it my all!

Then unsuccessfully try to find a job and maybe start on this Rosetta Stone program since I really need to brush up on my Spanish...

Rogue's back on Rexxar since Tuesday (They got him back on the server in 1 day wtf). Gear came back this afternoon.

Hopefully, tonight's raiding goes better than Thursday's. Jesus we were wiping on Kologarn when we've been oneshotting him for weeks. *crosses fingers for Malice tonight* I blame it on the Raid Leader not playing music before/during the raid. Yes, we do that. We play obnoxious joke music. One naxx the RL just played music the entire raid.

At first, I was like: O_O; THERE'S A BIRD ON MY FACE.
Then, I was like: O_o Well I kinda like the shoulders.
A bit after that I was like: >_< THERE'S A FUCKING CORSET.
And for a while I was like: ಠ_ಠ I'm going to look like I'm out of a kid's setai show.
And then I thought: Well, I like everything but the chest pie---.... Tabard. Stormwind fucking Tabard.

So, come Tier 9? I'm going to be a walking Alliance billboard. Or, too Alliance to function, you could call it.

Apparently I am incapable of working on one project for more than two days at a time right now. Part of the "Throwing in the Towel" series, and--I honestly wasn't going to do this! I don't have time for another series I know is never going to get finished. But, uh, it was easy to write and I was kind of hating If You Look Closer at the time, and Norma's voice comes so naturally to me--[handwave]

Hopefully this installment stands on its own. XD Also I seem to have become a lot more flexible about whom I pair Jay up with and that is all I'm going to say about that.

I like how I keep writing, writing, writing and not posting. Hmm.

All right, guys. I need your help.

My WoW account has been hacked AGAIN. I woke up at 6 this morning to see that my beloved Rogue had been realm transferred. I have been running AVG, Spybot, and Ad Aware like mad every day since they got into my account last time. Obviously, they are not working.

I need real protection, right now. Naturally the best answer would be to get a Blizzard Authenticator. But blizzard is sold out of them. No guesses as to when they're coming back in stock. Thus, I need to cover my butt elsewhere. I need something that will find these keyloggers, get rid of them, and then block them from getting me from now on.


God, I was just on my rogue not 4 hours ago...

Well, a new TDA would have aired by now in Canada if that in fact happened. I guess I'll find out around midnight-ish when I go around looking for torrents.

Haha, I was pretty amused that I was right in pegging Ulala as Ursula, though I think a lot of people predicted that, so it's hardly something to be proud of. XD Good lord she was awesome, though. By far Dawn's best one-shot rival and one that deserves to be a regular. With Conway. That would be pure madness.

Anyway, seeing that Contest episode did a lot to inspire me for how to handle my own in Chapter 9. I think I'm also going to alter the timeline a bit.

Like I said, with this much future planning, a LOT is subject to change for the future chapters, but now I have some ideas for the story all the way to Chapter 20 now! Bear in mind I'm still just on Chapter 9!

Chapter 9 is 11k words, by the way. I've just now finished the Reggie scene, which is why I wanted to revamp the Trifecta timeline, because I did alter one thing after seeing the episodes.

It's probably just a minor thing, but due to how long it would probably take for Paul to recover from two nasty blows to the head, stage 2 hypothermia and frostbite, and the general things you have to recover from after falling off a cliff... I decided that I would have the Chocovine Contest occur before the Plumeria Contest, rather than afterwards like I initially planned. This just makes things flow a little better continuity-wise and it feels more realistic this way. I wanted to make sure I had that confirmed before I go ahead and start writing the Contest segment. Plus, this means I can make direct references to Another One Gabites the Dust! and insert some of that delicious one-sided HeatTagshipping. ♥

I totally forgot to at first, but for the me-made rivals-of-the-episode, I need to decide on their Pokemon for the battle rounds. I've decided Janelle would have Monferno for the Appeal round, and Mina would have Gible. For the battle round... well, I'd like Janelle to have another Fire-type. With Mina, anything goes, I suppose. As long as it's a sucky Pokemon, because Mina's gimmick is to be a very submissive parallel to Conway, as Janelle is to Paul in some twisted way. You know, the big nasty bully + eager-to-please nerdy sidekick.

Still, having watched Another One Gabites the Dust! now, I have some great ideas for Appeals, so hopefully this is gonna be awesome once I have it written out. 9's felt like such a goddamn drag so far. We need some excitement, dammit...!

Now if only RP would not distract me so much~. It's just way too fun having a Paul that makes the ladies cry and trolls every Ash he sees and has eerie sexy times with Silver, which proves what a narcissist Paul truly is.

Gawh, it feels so good to be bad.

We got pretty much everything we need for my brother's Light costume today-- all he needs to do is dig up the Death Note he bought last year. (And we have to buy a bag of chips.) The only question now is-- in a possible Saturday crack costume, should he go as Blues Brothers Light, or Light Yagami: Refined Southern Gentleman? (Please note: at this stage, Blues Brothers Light is pretty much Light with shades and a hat. Refined Southern Gentleman Light is just Light with a drawn on mustache, walking around going, "WHY I DO DECLARE.")

Anywho, not too much going on. Just working on and planning stuff for AVcon.
And videogames. Slowly making my way through P4 and Abyss, I AM DETERMINED TO FINISH BOTH BEFORE THE CON.

Oh, oh, I FINALLY got my hands on the first half of Red Garden a while back. Only 5 episodes in, but I really like it. The setting and art style are really different than most anime. The story's fun too. Plus the characters randomly break out into song. xD
Thought my mom would like it because it's a mystery story and now she wont let me watch it without her. xD

Also grabbed the first half of EurekaSeveN yesterday, trying to get my dad into that one since I KNOW HE'LL LIKE IT. The art style is very different too, loooove.
WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG TO MAKE A BOXSET FOR IT AGHDKF.
I got about half way through the show a few years ago, before the website I watched it on went under. :(

Certain events in Belduragh have left Coolparty with a boat! Certainly being cooped up on a boat all together for days on end is going to create it's own share of adventures and stories, right? So that's where this comes in~

After that crazy adventure in the ruins, coolparty is definitely ready for a break and definitely ready to move on from this town. In their GREAT CIRCUS OUTFITS, coolparty saunters on down to the docks, startling a few people along the way with Drizzly. And there at the docks is their VERY OWN BOAT!

It's a small, sturdy-looking boat, roughly 30ft long and 10ft wide. Small, but it'll suit the party well enough. The deck is open with the only visible structures being the stairs leading below deck and the ship's wheel at the stern. Going downstairs brings the party into the crew's quarters. There's a few rooms, mostly furnished with hammocks though there may be a few small beds around as well as a couple small dressers. There's room for everyone but it's obvious that some will need to share rooms to fit everyone in and Drizzly may be a problem. Below this level is the cargo hold. It's stocked with enough supplies for roughly a month.

Looks like coolparty is all set to blow this joint.

Soo... I finally got into the driving class I needed to replace my expired cert. I came home thinking "Yes! I've got a year to get my act together and get my license!" Except I don't. My permit's gonna expire before this cert does. WHOOPS. That's still awhile away though thank goodness. At least I'm one step closer now. Again.

So most of you know this but I joined up as Norma at Luceti. So. Much. Fun. Man! I missed RPing! I didn't even realize how much I did until I started again. I know I was busy last year but I don't really know why I ever stopped! I already even want to pick up more characters but I have to figure out where RPing fits in my schedule first. /backtags into forever

Uhhhhh, I really need to make a list of stuff I need to finish by the end of the summer. My aunt wants to sell some of my bracelets at this festival thing and she wants, like, hundreds and I have... seven. Um. I need to make some, I could use that money for a laptop. Or treat myself and get that red dye job I was thinking of. Or both!

Yeah IDK I don't really have anything to post about in the summer lol.
